As always, we’re never more than a phone call away. I’m sure you understand that we’re outside taking care of the cattle most of the time, but I usually answer the phone even when we’re out working. So just enjoy the moo’s in the background & ask any question that you have!!
There are several ways to purchase our beef. We offer FREE DELIVERY to the Des Moines Metro Area! If you purchase Half a Beef we deliver to your door in the Metro Area.
If you’re buying larger bundles, please be aware that we are usually reserved about 3-6 months in advance. If you would like Summer delivery of an Eighth, Quarter, or Half beef; NOW is the time to reserve your beef.

By the pound for 20 pounds & less you can contact us directly at 515-971-8462 or purchase through the Iowa Food Coop, Downtown Farmers Market, or Valley Junction Farmers Market, you van also find our beef at Tallgrass Grocery in Valley Junction and Wheatsfield Coop in Ames
Beef Sticks
Sold by the package. Each package is approximately 1 pound. These sticks are made with Grass-Fed Beef and are extremely lean! Fantastic spice & flavor, but still mild enough that our little guy has loved them since he was 2! $12/package
Beef Jerky
MMM! This Jerky is made by the fantastic folks at the Milo Locker. Our premium Jerky is made from loin & Sirloin cuts, so there isn’t lots of gristle to it! The meat is cut & slow smoked for days covered in peppery spices. Eack package is about half a pound. $15/package

Quarter Beef

By purchasing a QUARTER; you will get more choices in the cutting of your beef! You can choose the thickness of your steaks & some of the cuts of your beef too!

Half a Beef
Pastured Beef $1050 Grass-Fed Beef $1150
By purchasing a HALF a Beef; you will get to make all the choices in the cutting of your beef! You can choose the thickness of your steaks, how much hamburger is made, the lean-ness of your ground beef too!
You will recieve some of EVERY cut. This is a true split half.

Whole Beef
Pastured Beef $2000 Grass-Fed Beef $2100
Each Whole Beef has approximately 300-400# of beef.
By purchasing a Whole Beef; you will get to make all the choices in the cutting of your beef! You can choose the thickness of your steaks, how much hamburger is made, the lean-ness of your ground beef too! When you purchase a whole animal you may also keep your tallow, and MANY more soup bones. You’ll also get to keep your organ meats & can choose to have them blended with some of your ground beef.

Raise your own
If you have the land, you can buy a fully weaned calf that is ready to graze your pastures! We do recommend having at least two large animals (calf & horse) together. This will allow the animal to stay calmer & develop better with the herding instinct. Call us & we can talk about your situation to see if it is the right fit to raise your own meat! We do sell heifers that will raise your beef & produce milk for your family!
PAY-AS-IT-GROWS
We realize that beef is a major part of our grocery budget. It also takes a lot to raise your beef. Thats why we have developed the PAY-AS-IT-GROWS Plan. Make a deposit on your beef of $200 per half or $100/quarter. Your beef will be reserved in your name. Then we estimate how long it will be until your beef is harvested and make monthly installments. This plan also works great to plan ahead and reserve your beef for next year!!
If you reserve your beef now for springtime delivery, you will recieve $50 off with a $200 deposit.
