Ebersole Cattle
We raise Maine-Anjou Cattle. We believe that you can make a efficient and productive female that still has the style to be able to walk in the show ring. From Conception to Consumer, we believe Maine-Anjou Cattle are the answer.
We have used very old genetics from the beginning. Our herd consists of Purebred Maine’s with some MaineTainers and a few Registered Angus cows. When we are crossbreeding we like to start with registered Angus Cows that have the EPD’s and known genetics we want to bring to some of our Purebred Cows.
All of our cattle are of the best disposition. We feed that disposition IS a culling factor! Thus, our calves are quiet and calm; making them excellent for young showmen (& girls!). Our cows are easily moved by Shanen & our children. We can move the cows from pasture to pasture & sort calves without any worry that the kids are in harms way.
We have both a spring & fall calving herd. The two herds work well together & allow us to have calves at all ages for show & sale. We utilize year round grazing as much as possible & find that we don’t have to supplement our cows very much. The efficient cow is our goal!

We have recently added 50 head of Fullblood MaineAnjou cows. This is the largest herd of Fullbloods in Iowa! We are so excited to be working with Rainy Stevens and her Fullblood herd.
