Ebersole Horses
We raise working Quarter Horses. All of the horses in our pictures are horses we raised. The sorrel is a 7yr old gelding we bred & raised. “Ozzie” will go gather horses & work for the most experienced cowboy & then let the little ones (our 2yo son) get on him & just walk slow.
The bay roan is our stud horse Dakota Red Buck. The day most of these pictures were taken, he was literally pulled from the mare herd, saddled & went to work gathering in a 400 acre wooly pasture. He has the MOST amazing cow-sense & will cut a cow in three! You never have to even ask him to go after a cow, you think it & he’s on his way there! He’ll NEVER let a cow get by him & will work all day & love it! Then, you can throw the kids on to cool him out & he’s as quiet as can be.
All of our mares are thick, stocky type quarter horses that know how to move a cow, but have the MIND of a kid’s horse. As with our cattle, we believe that disposition & willingness is the most important thing. With great blodlines & the heart to try, our horses are sure to make a great addition to your family ranch or just have fun at the Kiddie Rodeo’s.
